The best sunsets in Uluwatu (within 10 minutes of Nisí Villas)

Thomas Beach

Uluwatu, well know for its laid back vibe, surf culture and stunning sunsets. Panoramic views offered all along the Bukit coastline - we have narrowed down the best sunset spots in Uluwatu (within a short scoot from Nisí).

  • El Kabron

  • Klapa resort

  • Dreamland Hill

  • Single Finn

  • Thomas beach

  • Kelly’s Warung - bingin beach

El Kabron

With a selection of daybeds and areas within the adults-only iconic beach club, El Kabron offers a unique experience coupled with one of the best sunsets in the world. Enjoy an incredible selection of nibbles and main meals, as well as champagne or your favourite cocktail with your other half or a group, and brace yourself for a jaw-dropping sunset.

Klapa resort

Located above Dreamland Beach, Klappa offers one of the most picturesque sunsets you will experience here in Uluwatu. Once you’re past the underwhelming entry of the venue, perch yourself on a daybed around the infinity pool, and prepare to be amazed. Views to the left of Dreamland Hill, beachgoers piling in below you and surfers riding the waves ahead, the relaxed scene at Klappa is worth a visit. Order your favourite Indonesian delights and sip on a coconut or a signature cocktail. If you feel like exploring, there’s direct access to Dreamland Beach below, via the stairs by the pool.

Dreamland Beach/Hill

One of our favourite beaches (link beach blog), not only does the long stretch of clean white sand attract the crowds - but the sunsets are really something. Chilled, relaxed, slow scenes at Dreamland where the beach fills up from late morning and is full by the end of the day! A casual dining restaurant above serves food and drinks all day, eat there or take your food onto the beach to eat under your umbrella. Come the afternoon, you’ll see the hill fill up with people setting up to watch the sun go down having picnics until the sun goes down.

Single Finn

Unrivalled views of Uluwatus world-class surf break, and sunsets to match. You’ll find live music on a Wednesday and the vibes at an all-time high on a Sunday with international DJs playing. Open from morning till late, Single Finn serves great food and drinks to indulge in around the expansive cliff-top pool.

Thomas beach

Our little secret, a slice of heaven away from the crowds. A more peaceful scene set among nature, emerge yourself in the beauty that Thomas Beach offers (link favourite beaches blog). A handful of local warungs offer authentic food, Bintang and coconuts - sit on the sand and enjoy a quiet sundowner with your favourite people.

Kelly’s Warung - bingin beach

Bingin Beach is renowned for its spectacular sunsets. While there are many little spots to watch the sun go down along the beach and on the cliff, Kelly’s Warung is a must. Super relaxed scenes at Kelly’s, offering an incredible menu of food and drinks as well as great music - everyone is happy and relaxed at Kelly’s. Don’t forget to bring cash, they don’t take card!
